Hi! I'm also a newbie here, I just took Transition last Saturday and I passed it. The study material that I used was both Lisa A. and Mystudygroup101. They are both good. Lisa A. cd were more about her personal notes. She did a good job because whatever she put in that cd was a good foundation for the test. Mystudygroup101 cd is professionally made, they went line per line in regards to the content guide Excelsior gives you to study. And both of them have a lot of practice tests. I am preparing for my next test which is NC1. Good luck on your upcoming test.

Ahrends was just an expansion of what was in the Exam Content Guide.  I got a C.  They really went after you on the Nursing Theory and the individual nurse theorists.  The clinical aspect was common sense.
