Okay, I feel kinda stupid here, but here goes:  LOL, I am taking Health & Safety and Chronicity right now.  I ordered what I thought was Health & Safety discs.  The disc does show H & S, but also seems to refer to it as NC1? I thought this disc was also LifeSpan 1 along with H & S? can anyone clear this up for me?

What is she referring to as NC 1, 2, and 3?  I thought it was Lifespan 1,2, and 3. Are they the same?  I just don't want to be studying the wrong thing!  HELP! I'm in my 4th week of H&S, and want to start reviewing her material as well   Roll Eyes

The old exams used to be "Nursing Concepts" -- 1, 2, etc., through 7. NC1 is Health Safety. Here is a quick comparison:

Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Safety = NC1

Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Differences = NC2

Essentials of Nursing Care: Chronicity = NC3 + functional assessment (new) + end of life care (new)

Essentials of Nursing Care: Reproductive Health = NC3 + congenital anomalies (was in NC4)

Health Differences Across the Life Span 1 = NC4 (minus congenital anomalies)

Health Differences Across the Life Span 2 = NC5 + cognitive assessment (new)

Health Differences Across the Life Span 3 = NC6

Transition to the Registered Professional Nurse = NC7/Foundations of Professional Practice

No problemo. Smiley Just be aware that her CDs may not contain all the "new" material that was added after the curriculum changed. She may have updated her material, but I really don't know if she has or not. Good luck!!
